Dynamic pricing in KudiGo Storefront
When it comes to KudiGo, it is all about the customer. As a company, we are more particular about what our customers say. Throughout the journey of building Storefront (a system designed to help you manage your business), it has been the feedback from customers that made KudiGo Storefront product what it is today.
Some time ago we started getting requests from our clients about the ability to adjust the price of an item during sales. Our users wanted to be able to adjust product prices during sales. In most cases, this was not expected to happen but this is what the market demands and so we set out to do exactly that. I this post I will explain to you how you can achieve dynamic pricing on Storefront.
Dynamic Pricing
During sales of an item, you can quickly tap the price of the item to change the price during sales. The . image below explains how to achieve it.
When you tap on the price of the item, an option appears for you to set the new unit selling price of the item. The new value you provide will be the selling price of the product for this sales order.
It is important to note that, the new price will be used when calculating all everything related to that sales order. What this means that if the, for instance, the supplier price of that product was GHS 10 and the selling price is GHS 12 but during sales, the price is adjusted to GHS 15, the margin on that sales order will be GHS 5.0 instead of the expected GHS 2.0. Same way if the sale was made a price lower than the unit price the margin will be in the negatives.
KudiGo Storefront is aimed at helping you grow your business thus why we keep innovation based on your feedback.
